Hi James what manual are you using.

Hello. Please tell me if there is such a problem. I have calipers old model (two-piston), they squeak very loudly. After rebuilding the calipers and replacing different pads, the squeak did not go away. I looked at what they should be anti-squeak plates (I don’t have them). Is it possible to make them yourself and what kind? shape should they be? There is also a question about the piston, there are cuts on it, in Which side should the cuts face and does this affect the creaking?

You have a gap on the rear bottom corner of the sliding door, if you fix it, it will help a lot with the noise inside ;)

Hi James, cracking videos ... Just found I have a Weber instead of the intended pierburg 2e3. It has some leaks and uneven running, the Weber is 2701 model I believe ... Shall I go back to pierburg?

Leave the nut on so the clamp can’t damage the thread on the track rod end

I changed the fuel filter and cleaned out the carb inlet fuel filter and it worked for a while then same lose of power came back. Do you think the fuel pump could be gunked up ?

What's up with your shift box? It looks like it's been altered/upgraded from stock. Or is that just how 5 speed are. I've got a 91 4 speed and mine looks nothing like yours

Guys.... you MUST have the clutch fully disengaged BEFORE you start (m)any stationary gear shifts. Think of the internals of your gearbox!.... something could well get broken in there!!!.. . De-clutch (use a stick), fit the kit and when you are finished, off you go. The 094 isn't a kid's toy sturing gears. Great Kit, I want one!

My choke pull-down unit isn’t working (diaphragm perished) and you cannot source another one for love nor money. Everyone is sold out. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking maybe block off the tube to the unit then try do adjust the small Allen screw to get the choke flap to open slightly (3mm if possible) when cold. Anyone?

Just a tip if you put a relief cut in the old races you can tap the new race all the way home and the old one won’t get stuck 😊

Hey James, currently installing the droplink bushes with the cups. On my repair manual the discs/washers are cupping the rubbers, opposite of your video. Most LT’s have it this way, but it’s confusing because everybody says something different.

Do you need to put petrol in the chamber before reinstalling it?

The upper control arm long bolt has a think washer and a "distorted 19mm nut" at the end. It is a good practice to replace the nut, as over time these will loosen up and not stay tight if not replaced. The 54 ft lbs. is recommended and re-torque after driving to see if it holds at 54 ft lbs. On my 84 westy, this nut came loose resulting in a clunk and alignment issues. Also, I have read that when using the PowerFlex bushing, welding is not necessary if pressed into place properly.
